Anhalt, Duchy. A Friedrich Cross Archive measuring 53 mm (w) x(Friedrich Kreuz). Instituted on 12 December 1914. A cross patte in a bronzed war alloy cross, the obverse inscribed with the cipher of Friedrich, with an oak wreath between the arms of the cross, the reverse inscribed FR VERDIENST IM KRIEGE (For Merit in War), on a loop for suspension, measuring 37. 24 mm (w) x 37. 17 mm (h), and in overall extremely fine condition.
