A Royal Australian Air Force (Raaf) Pilot's Badge, C.1940 Newly Listed Kriegsmarine Officer’s Breast Eagle -In white and light blue embroidery, black threading giving definition to the wings, on a black wool base, padded, sewn in place to a silvered metal support via thirty nine holes punched in the metal, pinback soldered in place on the reverse, measuring 126 mm (w) x 38 mm (h), the frame of the pinback having come away from soldered area at one end of the metal support, very lightly soiled, near extremely fine.
