An Officer's Light Cavalry Sabre, c.1810 Buy Now maker marked “VELJEKSET SUNDQVIST” onBased upon the British 1796 light cavalry sabre, this is a custom purchase sword, likely German manufactured and made to size for its owner. An officers sabre from the Napoleonic period, featuring a curved blade measuring 79 cm in length and still retaining faint etching including "Reale delle Due Sicilie" translating to Royal [Kingdom] of the Two Sicilies, as well as floral design moving up the length of the blade, it does exhibit wear, pitting but
