Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consists of an oval oak leaf wreath around a central Heer style German national eagle with its wings stretched out clutching a mobile swastika. Situated above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, the reverse with a sheet metal hinge, vertical pinback, and round wire loop soldered to a plate, unmarked, measuring 42. 1 mm (w) x 53. 0 mm (l), weighing 33. 95 grams, with the majority
