Constructed of gilded bronze with enamels, consisting of a Geneva Cross with white enameled arms, the obverse overlaid by a central black enameled DRK style German national eagle, in turn bearing a DRK insignia, the 12 oclock arm with an integral loop and suspension ring connecting to the shortened modern ribbon, unmarked, measuring 40. 1 mm
