The upper breasts of the tunic each bear a pocket opening with a stylized horizontal flap bearing a reinforced buttonhole meeting a magnetic metal button with a sickle and hammer insignia

The tailpiece flap is sewn in place to the rear skirt of the smock and bears two brass studs that are designed to be drawn up between the legs of the wearer and fastened to the inside of the front skirt via the six brass snaps

Germany, Heer. An M40 Stahlhelm, with Field-Added Camouflage Netting Archive 7 mm (h) inclusive of(Heer Stahlhelm M40). An unusual Heer M40 Stahlhelm (steel helmet), constructed of a single sheet of magnetic molybdenum steel which retains trace amounts of wartime paint. Three rivets are distributed around the circumference of the shell for the accommodation of the interior fixtures, while the crown is flanked on each side by an integral ventilation hole. The rim of the skirt is fully crimped, providing a smooth edge throughout. Notably, a period
