Constructed of magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with clasp, the obverse bearing a central Olympic column, topped by rings, and overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika flanked by a date of 1936, the reverse bearing an inscription of FR VERDIENSTVOLLE MITARBEIT BEI DEN OLYMPISCHEN SPIELEN 1936, unmarked,
